Operating successfully providing temporary structures to the event industry for over fifteen years, we have secured a number of milestone events. One particular opportunity arose in 2012 when we were engaged to build the 27,000-seater Greenwich Equestrian Stadium for the London Olympics. (And stabling for 600 horses)
We provided over 30,000+ m2 of non-vibration Super Heavy Deck, and received accolades and acclaim from the London Olympic Organising Committee for our overall professionalism and product supremacy. We were also charged with building essential infrastructure for the Triathlon, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Badminton courts with equal commendation.
Our expertise and experience in being able to deliver a timely, world-class product, was recognized once again when the Glasgow Commonwealth Games Organising Committee appointed us to convert Hampden Park football stadium into a full athletics stadium. Again using the heavy deck, we successfully achieved all objectives and provided a groundbreaking structure upon which all the track and field events and closing ceremonies were hosted.
We also have a strong reputation for building temporary offices, car parks, warehouse spaces, catering tents, and ice rinks.
Our recent work within film and TV industry started in 2013 when we were requested by Channel 4/Sainsbury’s to design and install a 12.5m x 27.5m temporary TV studio. The build had a ground level with a height of 3m that incorporated all the required media suits, production, green rooms, and storage.
The 1st floor (with lift access) had a bespoke height of 5m, incorporating kitchens and seating for an audience of 50 people. The end product was a huge success and allowed Channel 4 / Sainsbury’s to shoot some great footage however; there were some hurdles to overcome.
Due to the busy A13 situated at the back of the structure, we had to develop a walling solution with a dba rating of 65dba+. This enabled filming to occur in a soundproofed environment, enabling an extremely professional and well-received shoot.
